I am incredibly grateful to Dynamic Athlete Training for aiding me in my referee journey. When I began in May of 2023, I was truly unaware of the things that I can and should be doing to reach the next level of refereeing. Working with JJ allowed me to gain a greater understanding of what I could do to continue getting stronger and improving my fitness. I just finished one of the busiest seasons of my refereeing career, and I can safely say that I am in the best shape of my life. "The Dynamic Athlete Training Program has tremendously helped me over the past season. At the beginning, it didn’t feel like much progress was being made. The exercises were either too “easy” or I couldn’t hit the goals. But I stuck with it and leaned into the process.

Once I got to the final third of the program, the results started showing all of sudden in dramatic ways. I compared the various running exercises from the beginning to where I was at the end, and I would not have believed the amount of progress I was making. "As a young referee, knowing I wanted to move up in the referee world but really not having any idea where to start, I figured fitness was a great start.

The gym had been a part of my life for about 6 months before the program; at the time I had no idea how to work on cardio, once in a while I would just run till, I got tired.

I had always heard about the infamous JJ Bilinski pregame warm up. From the first text, JJ was always attentive and super helpful. We got started on the program right away and it was tailored to my exact needs. JJ was there to answer every single question and walk me through the workouts. Training with JJ has been the final piece to my athletic training puzzle. I was an elite athlete who regularly trained for the majority of my life. Like every other ex-athlete, I struggled with the transition away from being a soccer player - my training revolved solely around the Army and I lost that dynamic edge in my refereeing. I have been an AR at a professional level for almost a decade and have the explosiveness. Also, I am good enough to last for a 5k but I wanted to get that “next level” endurance. JJ and I met back in January 2021 at the Florida classic and there he introduced to me his programs on referee training and weight loss. I explained to him how I wanted to lose weight for better movements on the field and appearance.

Since that day, JJ has gone above and beyond to help me meet my goals, provide nutrition plans, and create personalized specific training sessions that give you an in depth of the ways to possession yourself on the field. So far throughout my transformation, I have lost 30 pounds and have all this new insight on training drills l/exercises that have increased my work rate significantly. Another part of the program that was a key factor was to my weight loss was the nutrition. Based on my exercise plan and other factors (height, sleep, habits, etc.), JJ planned the right diet for me and being very specific with all the portions, steps, and intake on supplements.

Lastly, as I was getting ready to leave for a regional youth tournament last year in June, JJ and I would have field trainings that worked on specific drills for referee positioning, presence, and whistle tone. This training was a big factor to my success at the regional tournament and then being selected as a referee to ref the national tournament the following month. I’m glad to have crossed paths with JJ and helping me reach my goals.

JJ meets with you prior to developing the plan to determine your fitness goals. He then developed a plan tailored to my goals and current fitness level. “What I loved about working with JJ, is that as a referee I could really feel and understand how the training program was going to translate and improve my match day fitness.

Before working with him I would probably say I could push myself to make it to the end of a match or pass a fitness test but there would be nothing left over, and it would not be repeatable or sustainable.

"Even though I’ve been an athlete most of my life and learned how to properly run and lift weights over many years, Dynamic Athlete Training (J.J.) truly taught me how to put it all together to translate into refereeing a game.

Also, the new runs I learned are fun.

As to results, I train and recover more efficiently around my games, so I have less aches and pains. I achieved faster, longer runs within 4-5 weeks by adjusting to attainable goals from a baseline. Also, my resting heart rate dropped about 5-6 beats; it has become more fit and efficient as well.
