CalNorth Partners with DAT
Dynamic Athlete Training (DAT) has partnered with California North Referee Administration (CNRA) to support select officials in the top tier of their Elite Referee Program with improving their on-field fitness.
DAT Owner, JJ Bilinski is excited about the partnership. “I’m looking forward to working with the CNRA Elite Group officials that want to take their fitness the next level.”
“Many of the group members have aspirations to work professional games so one of our shared goals with this partnership is to expose them to the workload that is required to reach and maintain that level, while helping them learn about different types of training that are specific to soccer officials.”
“Soccer officials are one of the most difficult athletes to train as the fitness required is quite comprehensive compared to other types of athletes. It takes such a delicate balance of strength, endurance, power, explosiveness, speed and agility to be prepared for the different styles of play that can occur in a match.”
CNRA Director of Referee Development Matthew Buckman said: “We’re pleased to be able to provide this support to the officials in the top tier of our Elite Program. We feel JJ’s experience as both a professional referee and a fitness coach provides the unique perspective and expertise that current and aspiring professional officials need to achieve their fitness and on-field goals.”
